Today, Connector Kings Corporation and Water View Investments jointly announced the successful acquisition of Connector Kings and its related assets.
Derek Debiak will join Connector Kings as CEO, focusing on business strategy and growth initiatives. Connector Kings’s Founder and CEO Ralph Davis will continue to serve in an advisory role to help ensure a smooth transition, and will also retain a financial stake in the business.
What is Connector Kings:
Connector Kings was established in 1988 to manufacture high-quality waterproof connectors. Since then the company has grown into a full-service distributor for the irrigation and water metering industries. Over the years Connector Kings has established relationships with over 12,000 contractors in 29 countries and offers one of the best warranties in the industry.
Connector Kings manufactures its proprietary products at 2 factories, one outside of Knoxville and another in Southern California. Connector Kings Distribution Center is also located outside of Knoxville Tennesee.
A Landmark Partnership:
Derek’s interest in Connector Kings was immediate, due to its unique products and long history of excellent customer relationships. Before his search for a small business, Derek spent his career at various Fortune 500 and tech companies building exceptional digital products. Most recently Derek worked for Rocket Mortgage where he managed the mortgage servicing experience for 2.5m clients.
Derek also worked with his wife Katie to acquire BottledWaterstore.com. Since the acquisition, they have managed to rapidly grow the business through a new website and eCommerce store, digital marketing, and excellent customer service. Derek received his B.A. from Michigan State University.
